From James Emberzine's nice, Rhonda Fay Biggs: "I remember visiting Uncle Emberzine when I was about 8 years old (about 1958) up in Humblolt County(California). He had a place in the redwoods. I had never seen such dark nights. I really liked him. That was the only time I remember seeing my Grandmother. I do remember the long bus trip from and to Southern California."

James married Bonnie Alma Moore. (Bonnie Alma Moore was born on 10 May 1921 in Oklahoma and died on 7 Jul 2010 in Eureka, Humboldt County, California.)
