Stephen William Minkel

Stephen died in a fire in his apartment. He fell asleep and his mattress caught on fire. He woke up and in attempting to put the fire out he had heart failure. His ashes were buried along the Gandy Blvd. beaches in Tampa Bay.

Stephen married Esther Lorraine Brown, daughter of Samuel Ray Brown and Esther Elizabeth Geiger, on 14 Dec 1946 in Cumberland, Allegheny County, Maryland. (Esther Lorraine Brown was born on 23 Jan 1928 in Penn Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylania, died on 5 Sep 2001 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida and was buried on 11 Sep 2001 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida.). The cause of her death was heart failure, emphazima.
