Thurl Fear, 57, R.R. 1, Argos, was crushed to death Monday at 7:45P.M. while he was removing the transmission from his auto and the jacks holding the car slipped, causing the car to fall on him. He was working on the car at Cook lake, R.R. 4, Plymouth. Mr. Fear was an employee of the Ritz Craft trailer factory in Argos and also did some farming.
Thurl married Elnora Belle Mechling, daughter of Unknown and Lesta M. Spencer, on 3 Jan 1933 in Knox, Starke County, IN.
