Richard Willis Lauffer

  General Notes:

Richard left to be with LORD after nearly 20 years of illness. He was always in high spirits and always talked of his love for Jesus.
Richard had a background in names. With the middle name of Willis, he was known as Willie. He had been going by Baldino. This name came from a story he told of his younger days: "I must have been 4 or 5 yrs young at the time. I found a pair of the old fashion hair clippers in the kitchen drawer and decided to give myself a Mohawk. I ended up with a crooked path down the middle. My dad saw it and tried to repair the damage. I ended up with a bald head. My older brother Danny (Carson) gave me the nick name of Baldo. It stuck with me all the way through High School and beyond. Thank you Danny! It grows on ya. Like a wart."

Willie had an Associates Degree in Physiology and a Bachelors in Family Life Education.

Richard married Maria Juanita Ramos.
