Queens County is now Laix County. This is in central Ireland.
James signed Declaration of Intention on 10/1/1846 in Philadelphia.
Information from Tom Mangan indicates that James came over on the Abbotsford ship, which arrived Philadelphia 5/24/1843. Also present on this ship was Ann, Andrew, Catharine and Henry Mangin. This ship came from Liverpool. All names were listed alphabetcally, so there is no ndication that these were all from the same family.
The obituary notice of Sister Beatrice indicated that there were 13 children to James.
