Susan obtained an M.S. from Ohio State University in 1982. She was with the Big Sister Administration in Columbus, Ohio. She worked in the Bread & Roses Woman's Shelter in Birmingham, Alabama and was an Adult Literacy Tutor in Birmingham. She was also a Manager of Corporate Giving at Carnegie Hall from 1985 to 1987. After serving so many, she left this world due to cancer and was cremated in Birmingham, Alabama.
Susan married Steven Gregory, son of Carl Gregory and Glenna.
