Mary Jane Keister

Mary Jane Brown, 62, of Greensburg RD4, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 1994, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born in South Greensburg on Sept. 25, 1931, a daughter of the late Charles and Hazel McClain Keister. She was a member of the former Forbes Road Union Church and had served on the American Red Cross Board of Directors. She was a member of the Alwine Civic Center and the Ladies Auxiliary for South Greensburg American Legion Post 981. She was predeceased, besides her parents, by a brother, John R. Keister; and three sisters, Loretta E. Keister, Edna Mae Keister and Alberta Dolores Keister. She is survived by her husband, Russell E. Brown; four children, Russell E. Brown Jr. of Acme RD1, Shirley L. Niehenke of Greensburg RD11, Randy L. Brown of Crucible, Pa., and Kristen D. Brown of Greensburg RD4; two sisters, Pearl Storm of South Greensburg, and her twin sister, Jean Frye of New Alexandria; four grandchildren, Ryan E. Niehenke, Timothy E. Brown, Kelly Lynn Brown and Brittany Elizabeth Brown; and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the KEPPLE-GRAFT FUNERAL HOME INC., 524 N. Main St., Greensburg, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the funeral home Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George Webb officiating. Interment will follow in the Central Cemetery in Hempfield Township. Terence L. Graft in charge of the funeral arrangements.
