S. Marjorie Wigle Gongaware, 78, of Larimer, died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at home. She was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Larimer, a daughter of the late C. Lauffer and Sarah Good Wigle. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Larimer, where she taught Sunday school for more than 50 years, and was a member of the church choir. She was a member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers and AARP Chapter 70, Irwin. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marion) Kunkle of Larimer; two grandchildren; and a twin sister, M. Marion Wigle. GONGAWARE - Friends of S. Marjorie Wigle Gongaware, 78, of Larimer, who died Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, will be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of services in the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph M. Kim officiating. Interment will be in Irwin Union Cemetery.

Marjorie next married Grover E. Gongaware on 23 Mar 1959. (Grover E. Gongaware was born on 26 Nov 1937 in Penn Township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylania and died on 14 Feb 2003 in Lake Worth, Florida.)
