Research shows that Henry Beamer was probably the son of Phillip Beamer of near Taneytown, MD. Sept. 1804 Philip Beamer patented land called "Red Land" in Frederick County, MD in 1760 and land called "Frog Meadow", same county, 1762. This area is on the north side of Great Pipe Creek near Taneytown. In 1798 census he had 98 acres and a log cabin. (1798 tax assessment for Frederick County ) From various deeds of Frederick Co., we can connect Phillip Beamer to the Red Lands and Frog Meadow.
