Harriet Ester Lauffer
Another name for Harriet was Hettie. General Notes: Harriet Ester (Hettie) LAUFFER and Henry BEAMER Sr. were married in 1847. Henry BEAMER Sr. was born on 17 Dec 1794 in Franklin Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. He died on 17 Dec 1856 in Franklin Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. He was buried in Beamer Cemetery, Murraysville, Franklin Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA. Both are interred at the Beamer church, now called Olive, near Murraysville. They lived along Puckety Run in Franklin Twp. on the present Elwood Farm. Harriet was christened in 1808 by Rev. William Webber and sponsored by Adam and Elizabeth Kemmerer. Some research refered to Harriet as Johanna but this was never substantiated. Harriet was married three times but apparently had no children. Harriet married Henry Beamer Sr., son of John Beamer Sr. and Maria Eva Buttenberg, in Jun 1823. (Henry Beamer Sr. was born on 17 Dec 1794 in Taneytown, Maryland, died on 17 Dec 1856 in Murrysville, Franklin Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA and was buried in Beamer Cemetery, Murraysville, Franklin Twp., Westmoreland Co., PA.) Harriet next married Christian Young in 1857. Harriet next married Johann Jacob Silvis, son of Johannes Silvis and Anna Maria. (Johann Jacob Silvis was born on 25 Feb 1792.) |
