Newspaper (Mountain Echo February 7, 1890): "For sometime past, Cantrell and Angel have been missing articles out of their store at Bruno, and last Friday night William Angel concluded to watch the store. A while after night, Frank Cooper, the 14 year old son of Issac Cooper, slipped up to a window that contained a broken glass. He sprung the bars inside apart and crawled in. Angel then ran up to the window and the lad was where he could not get out. Mr. Angel watched the window till he could send for Kenner Cantrell, when they went into the store and captured the young gentleman, who will no doubt be bound over to await the action of the grand jury. The boy is of respectable parents."
