William is the son of James A. Fox and Sadie Fox. William lived in Arona, Pa. I found a birth record in the Westmoreland County Register of Wills office listing a Walter Franklin Fox, son of J.B. Fox, born September 1904, Hempfield Twp. This is most likely William; however, there was no mother listed.
At the time of the 1930 U.S. Census, William and his wife Pearl and their children William F. and Robert J. lived in Sewickley Twp., Westmoreland Co., Pa. They owned their home and valued it at $900.
William married Pearl Josephine in 1926. (Pearl Josephine was born on 24 Oct 1905 and died on 14 Dec 1999.)
Marriage Notes:
In the 1930 U.S. Census, William reported marrying at age twenty-one, and Pearl reported marrying at age twenty. That would place their year of marriage around 1926.
