Widow Lucy Womack Lawrence moved to Jefferson County, Tennessee with her four youngest children. She joined the Dumplin Creek Baptist Church in July 1797. The church roll lists: Lucy Lawrence, widow of Thomas, Lucy Lawrence Cate, Peter Lawrence, Samuel Lawrence and Jeremiah Lawrence.
