Miss Mary L. Esch died in University College Medical Hospital in London, England, where she was stricken with a heart attack while on vacation.
Miss Esch had been employed at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (her alma mater) for 51 years. Miss Esch had first served for a year as secretary to the college's registrar, a forerunner to her becoming the registrar. When she retired from that position in 1966, she was named registrar emeritus. She had been duly honored by the college and by the many organizations she served as an official in some area or offices
