Richard E. Boganwright
General Notes: Dick worked at Eber's What Not & Novelties Store in Mentone for many years. Dick served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War as part of the 81st Moratorium Combat. He worked as a U.S. Postal Service employee for 38 years and achieved the position of assistant postmaster. He lived on a Hoosier Homestead farm, which has been in his wife's family for more than 100 years. He also raised Angus cattle. Dick was a faithful member of Beaver Dam United Methodist Church,where he served and held nearly every position. He was also a member of American Legion Post No. 49, Warsaw. Richard married Living Fear, daughter of John Henry Fear and Susan Elma Julian. |
