"Bob" lied about his age and joined the Navy at 17 yrs of age. He loved flying and did so his entire adult life. He lived on a boat in Marina Del Rey, CA for a time and loved to putt around on his "hog" motorcycle after he retired. Bob and Eva made their home in California. Bob died of lung cancer.
Robert married Eva Mae Fleck on 26 Mar 1953. (Eva Mae Fleck was born on 23 May 1929 and died on 15 Jul 2008.)
Robert next married Crystal Mason on 26 Mar 1953. (Crystal Mason was born on 13 Aug 1928 and died on 22 Jun 2004.)
