Samuel Otis Steiner, 79, of 17 Hickory street, died t his morning at his home. He had been a resident of Scottdale for 60 years and was in the wholesale and retail tobacco business most of that time. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had served at one time as Sunday school superintendent for 16 consecutive years.
Samuel married Lillian B. Leichleiter on 24 Aug 1904 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. (Lillian B. Leichleiter was born on 20 Feb 1882 in New Haven, Fayette Co., PA and died on 22 May 1968 in Quincy, Franklin Co., PA.)
