There is a possible error in the wife of Nicholas King. The Rice history shows Nicholas married to Mary Barnhart. The Westmoreland County biographical history shows a Nicholas King married to Mahala Berlin. Birth dates are similar. There could be two Nicholas Kings but this is probably in error for one of the family lines. JRL 11/30/2005
Nicholas married Mary Barnhart, daughter of Rudolph Barnhart and Christina Rice, in 1847 in Butler County, Pennsylvania. (Mary Barnhart was born on 3 Jun 1820 in Millerstown, Butler Co., PA, died on 2 Jul 1912 in Butler County, Pennsylvania and was buried in Zion Luthern Church Cemetery, Concord, Butler Co., Pennsylvania.)
