400. Jehiel Preston. Born ca 1640. Jehiel was baptized in First Congregational Society, New Haven on 14 Jun 1640.1 Jehiel died in 1684.1
Jehiel, of Stratford, was selectman 1669 and representative 1676.4 Jacobus says the only children of Jehiel recorded in Stratford are Samuel and Joseph, and he adds Mary as a child.1
Jehiel first married Sarah Fairchild, daughter of Thomas Fairchild. Born on 19 Feb 1641 in Stratford, CT.1 They had the following children: 1486 i. Samuel (1663-1707) 1487 ii. Joseph (Died young) (1663-)
Jehiel second married Temperance Nichols, daughter of Isaac Nichols & Margery [Nichols]. Born on 17 May 1662 in Stratford, CT.1
