Rev. John James Lace

  General Notes:

Rev. John Lace was a Methodist minister and served most of the time in Colorado, except for a time when he was superintendent of Utah Mission in SLC. He came to the USA between 1882 and 1885. John attended Northwestern University and Garrett Bibical Inst. He graduated from Chaddock College. He had been married previously to Minnie Price who died in 1903 leaving 3 children, Mona, Jess and Price.

John married Charlotte Ella Hickman, daughter of Simeon Martin Hickman D.D. and Mary Catherine Arter, on 14 Jun 1904. (Charlotte Ella Hickman was born on 12 Sep 1865 in New Philadelphia, OH and died on 9 Dec 1927 in Colorado Springs, CO.)
