General Notes: Josephine E. Dolensky Wigle Hazel, 86, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, in IHS of Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. She was born March 13, 1911, in Shafton, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna Lacina Dolensky. She was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Army. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral of Greensburg. Predeceased by her husband, Robert R. Wigle in 1940; two sisters, Violet Dolensky and Anna Wetley; and a brother, Harry Dolensky. Survived by two sisters, Emily A. McFadden of New Stanton and Florence McElfresh of Miramar, Fla.; and nieces and nephews for three generations were all blessed by her life. Friends will be received at the VINCENT V. RODGERS FUNERAL HOME, 805 Pennsylvania, Irwin, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Blessing service will be held in the funeral chapel Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Irwin Union Cemetery. He will lift you up on eagles wings and hold you in the palm of his hand. Josephine married Robert Ridinger Wigle, son of Logan Kifer Wigle and Mary B. Ridinger. (Robert Ridinger Wigle was born on 17 Jul 1904 and died in 1940.) |
