Merle J. Bushyager, 98, a resident of Mt. View Nursing Center, formerly of Jeannette, died Monday, June 14, 1993, at Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1895, in Penn Township, a son of the late Elijah and Annetta R. Lauffer Bushyager. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner of Bushyager-Droutz Appliance Store of Jeannette. He was a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Jeannette.

Merle married Thelma I. Keefer. (Thelma I. Keefer was born in 1903 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania and died in 1966.)
