General Notes: Will was known to have a temper. Once a horse refused to be hitched to a wagon. Will hit the horse square between the eyes and knocked it out cold. Then he swore his two youngest sons to secrecy. Mom was not to know. Will worked hard all his life as a farm hand, miner and factory worker. William married Sylvia Jane Loffer, daughter of Henry Sylvester Loffer and Sarah Elizabeth Knight, on 16 Nov 1905 in Bruno, Marion County, Arkansas. (Sylvia Jane Loffer was born on 12 Dec 1887 in Leadhill, Boone County, Arkansas, died on 3 Jun 1985 in Burbank, CA and was buried on 7 Jun 1985 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Riverside, California.)
