Roger received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University and then was commissioned a 2nd Lt in the Air Force. His service to his country included service in Viet Nam. At the time of his death at 46, he was a Lt. Col. His family remembers him as an organized and thoughtful man.
Roger married Nancy Downer.
