Bryon Moore Esch helped out on the farm as a boy, later became a minister earning his way through school by many jobs. He was a minister at the First United Methodist Church, Alden, He was member of the Board of Missions, Western New York conference and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Buffalo, N.Y. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church.
Bryon married May Ethel Rauch, daughter of Jonathan Rauch and Jennie Bickhart, on 23 Apr 1938 in Liverpool Perry Co, PA.At The E.U.B. Church. (May Ethel Rauch was born on 17 Jul 1918 in Lewisburg, Union Co., PA and died on 11 Dec 2005 in Manor Care, Bethlehem, PA.)
