Mathe Ethel, was a loving wife and mother. She work as a telephone operator and helped with her husbands ministry, by being a confirmation teach, Youth Fellowship leader and later, she became involved with Women's mission work, serve as Treasure and President at the conference level. She also helped her sister's mission work in the Philippines. She was indeed very talented musically and loved by many.
May married Bryon Moore Esch, son of Perry Adam Esch and Pearl Ellen Moore, on 23 Apr 1938 in Liverpool Perry Co, PA.At The E.U.B. Church. (Bryon Moore Esch was born on 14 Sep 1915 in Beaver Valley Farm, Flinton, Cambria Co., PA, died on 10 Jun 2001 in New Port Richey, FL. and was buried on 11 Aug 2001 in Beaver Valley United Methodist Church Cemetery.)
