  General Notes:

Samuel, retaining father's farm, had a store in Indiana, bought store and mill in Idaho, PA. Upon his death, wife and family returned to Wilkinsburg. Their marriage was in listed in the Westmoreland Republican paper of 30 Mar 1854.

Samuel married Rachel Yockey, daughter of Christopher Yockey and Mary Catherine Bash, on 14 Mar 1854. (Rachel Yockey was born on 12 Aug 1829 in Wash./Bell Twp, We Co, PA, died on 24 Nov 1925 and was buried in South Bend, PA.)
