General Notes:
They lived on Boundary Street in Wilkinsburg, PA. In his latter days, Emerson lived at his daughter's farm near Smicksburg, PA. Graves are in Woodlawn Cemetery, off Penn Ave, to left of entrance along fence to the right of tower and opposite brick condominium. Emerson lived high above Ella Street in Wilkinsburg. He had enough ground to have at times two cows, and chickens. Ralph Noah as a youngster was pressed into being delivery boy daily for his milk route. He bottled the milk. Emerson made a garden and Ralph yearly had to wheel manure down to his parent's garden. Emerson worked at the lumberyard and lumber mill.
Emerson married Jennie M. Altman. (Jennie M. Altman was born in 1867 and died on 13 Jun 1939.)
