"Irvin Jerome Loffer of Hastings, Nebraska died December 19, 1974 in the Hastings Hospital. Services were held from Amos Funeral Home in Shelton with interment in Shelton Cemetery. He was born June 9, 1896 at Shelton, the son of Jerome and Eliza (Mullen) Loffer. On April 9, 1920 he married Golda Hanks of Kearney. The couple farmed most of their lives, lived in Shelton, then moved to Hastings. Survivors include his wife and 3 daughters:
