Sarah married Jerome William Loffer, son of Simon Peter Loffer and Hannah Wilhemine Caroline Hemper, in 1880 in Dunlap, Harrison, Iowa, U.S. (Jerome William Loffer was born on 3 Nov 1853 in Whitetown, Carroll Co., Indiana, died on 5 Aug 1918 and was buried in Shelton, Buffalo, Nebraska.)

  Marriage Notes:

<b> The information on the place of marriage comes from the Loffer Family Bible, which my grandfather, Roy, possessed until abut 1985. It was supposed to be passed on to the oldest living male Loffer, and since my grandparents had no sons, it was given to his brother's oldest son, Robert Loffer, but its current whereabouts are unknown.

I requested copies of the marriage license and certificate from Harrison County, but they show no record of their marriage. The same is true of Shelby County, Iowa, directly east of Harrison.[chlauffer.FTW]
