The first record of Nicholas in Shenandoah Co., Va is the purchase on April 9, 1793 deed book 1 page 67 Possible first 3 children Annlass, George and John were by first wife and born in Pa and most likely she died and Nicholas and the 3 children came to Va. Susannah and Nicholas probably married about 1793. The Zion-Pine Church records start in 1786 but there is no mention of the Drucks until 1795 when the birth of Johann Henrich (Henry) is recorded. Susannah is also listed on a communion list in 1795.
Nicholas purchased his 70 acre farm on April 9, 1793. It was bought from Anthony Rodenkeffer for 20 Pounds. Its location was listed "on the drainage of Stony Creek and known as Cat Hollow.is is where they lived their liffe and where their children were born and raised. As Palatine Germans they took great pride in the farm. They were buried in the family cemetery on the farm.The name Druck comes from the German word Drucker or Druckman which means a printer of books. The name Druck was also Truck and Trook. Nicholas Druck Estate Sale, November 1829 His personal estate brought $389.03 which, for that time was a large sum and which was divided equally among his eight children.
Nicholas married Susannah Margaret Hoop, daughter of Peter Hoop and Magdalena Rohrer, on 21 Jun 1791 in Shenandoah Co. VA. (Susannah Margaret Hoop was born on 30 Aug 1770 in Shenandoah Co. VA. and died on 11 Jun 1847 in Shenandoah Co. VA..)
