Laura Ellen Leonard

Laura Ellen was only nine years old when she stepped on a rusty nail, got blood poison and died. When the Grace Reformed United Church of Christ was being built in the late 1800's, her father, Alexander Leonard, placed a window in this church in her memory. This window is located above the main entrance door as you enter the church from the street. A marker on the window commemorates this memorial.
