Don served in the 517th Parachute Infantry in Europe during World War II. After the war he worked for General Motors until his retirement. A proud member of the Masonic Lodge Rising Sun 13 for more than 50 years and was a member of the United Auto Workers for 30 years.
Don married Hulda (Holly) Johnson about 1898. (Hulda (Holly) Johnson was born in 1920 and died in 2005.)
